All my life I have dreamt of the water.
Infinite and constant, the enigmatic tides would hypnotise me as they rippled, rolled and raged against the jagged geology of the shore.
The ocean.
Enticed into its coalescent, melancholic dance by the moon as it waxed and waned; romancing me, seducing me, resonating deep within me.

The ocean.
Enticed into its coalescent, melancholic dance by the moon as it waxed and waned; romancing me, seducing me, resonating deep within me.

Drowning in particular was a metaphor to me of holistic, euphoric surrender.
’find what you love and let it kill you'.
How beautiful for one to descend absolutely into the depths of the dark abyss. How poetic to give oneself over completely, the same way the sea gave itself with such devotion to the sky.

this collection is inspired by a personal history of loss, grief, transformation and rebirth.
Textures are informed by the ceaseless movement of water; from vast swells that roll elegantly across the horizon to the turbulent froth born of crashing waves.
WHETHER VIOLENTLY SURGING OR EERILY STILL, THE OCEAN WILL ALWAYS BE A SOURCE OF COMFORT AND SOLACE; A TIRELESS PARAGON OF MY PASSIONS, FURIES AND MELANCHOLIES.
