Alicia Hannah Naomi is an artist and contemporary jeweller. Her collections are hand-crafted, manufactured using both classic and contemporary gold and silversmithing techniques. Through this approach, a delicate balance is forged between traditional cues of craftsmanship and the way inspiration is articulated through fabrication. Alicia’s work explores the poetry found in natural objects and processes that possess a dark beauty.
Alicia sees personal style as a fundamental channel for self-expression. Working exclusively in precious metals such as sterling silver, 9ct, 14ct and 18ct gold, each of Alicia’s works is an intimate manifestation of its wearer. Precious gems such as black and grey diamonds are chosen for their integrity and mercurial beauty; that which is the essence of the post-luxury philosophy of both the artist and atelier.
Alicia Hannah Naomi jewellery is worn by influential experimental / post-industrial musicians such as Mariqueen Maandig Reznor (How to Destroy Angels), Chelsea Wolfe and Zola Jesus.
